Neal Whitten's No-Nonsense Advice for Successful Projects
Successful projects don't just happen—they are made to happen. Neal takes leadership and project management to a personal level and reveals leading-edge best practices that make all the difference between leading consistently successful projects and playing the victim with troubled projects. Focusing mostly on leadership and soft skills, but including hard skills and life skills, this seminar reveals choices to make and behaviors to adopt that are invaluable in helping a person become a successful project manager and leader. The seminar is based largely on Neal's new book, Neal Whitten's No-Nonsense Advice for Successful Projects.

Let’s Talk! No-Nonsense Leadership, Accountability and Professional Maturity
Leadership, accountability, and professional maturity issues are common on projects—too common. This highly interactive seminar addresses these issues head-on. Through a Q&A venue, attendees pose short problem scenarios from either a seminar-provided list or their personal list. The attendees then propose their best shot at how the scenario might best be handled. The instructor then evaluates the solutions and reveals the right course of action. The seminar takes learning to a personal level and is facilitated by a leading industry authority.

Project Review Mentoring Workshop
This workshop is an unusually powerful tool in that it combines assessing the health of ongoing projects while mentoring all those in attendance in the lessons learned from each project reviewed. It brings the real world into the classroom through focusing the workshop attendees on analyzing ongoing real projects for areas of improvement and areas of praise. By the conclusion of the workshop, the attendees are armed with a list of recommendations to take back to their projects and implement. No theory or schoolbook jargon here, only specific real-world solutions to real-world problems.

Role Clarification Workshop
Attended by project managers and resource managers (includes entry level to middle managers to executives), this highly interactive workshop is driven by problem scenarios and defines the roles and responsibilities of these two critical leadership positions and how they can best work together for the mutual good of the enterprise. The major problems inhibiting the success of an organization and its projects can be traced back to the leadership skills exhibited by those that hold the critical positions of project manager and resource manager.

Leadership, Accountability and YOU
If there is a leadership and accountability problem—whether large or small—in your project or organization, this unique workshop may be just what you need. This workshop exposes problems that attendees are experiencing in the performance of their duties. It also reveals actions to help remedy those problems. This workshop can be unusually effective in showing attendees professionally mature behavior that projects, organizations and companies need and want to help them perform at their best.

The Essentials of Software/IT Project Management: Best Practices
An insightful, no-nonsense, knowledge-rich, educational experience that can have an immediate and positive impact on your current or next project. This workshop cuts to the quick and reveals the essentials in practicing effective software/IT project management—the first time. Based largely on two of Neal's books, The EnterPrize Organization: Organizing Software Projects for Accountability and Success and Managing Software Development Projects: Formula for Success, and on dozens of magazine articles authored by Neal, this workshop identifies the most common "big ticket" project management problems plaguing software development/IT projects—and shows you how to effectively deal with them. This workshop reveals project management best practices—including essential soft skills—and is taught by a leading, recognized authority and 30-year veteran of software/IT projects. Prepare to learn more than project management; prepare to learn about yourself, human nature, and how to make things happen.
